Be a Pirate Gold Calculator

Your gold per hour is your chest average times chests per hour times your multiplier. Tick the passes you own to see the stack, then tick one more to see exactly what that purchase adds to an hour of chest runs.

Gold per hour

Where these inputs come from

Recorded chest runs paid anywhere from $155 for a small wooden chest to $750 for a golden parrot chest, so the chest average starts at 300 as a middle guess. That number is your own, taken from the last five chests you opened. Chests per hour is one full loop: sail out, dig, carry the chest back, let the Treasure Broker open it. A calm solo run lands around six.

The pass multipliers are the store's own wording, checked 2 November 2026: 2x Treasure Value doubles what a chest sells for, VIP Captain adds 20% gold, Pirate Lord adds 50% and stacks with VIP, and Gold Rush adds 50% while its timer runs.

What the number does not include

This is an estimate, not the game's internal formula. The order the game applies the multipliers in is not published, and this calculator doubles last. Luck is left out on purpose: Lucky Captain, Lucky Digger and the luck potions change drop quality, and the base drop rates are not published, so there is nothing honest to multiply.

Robux cannot be converted to gold, so there is no payback time here. What the table shows is the extra gold an hour a pass adds at your own pace, which is the number you can compare against its price.

What to do with the result

If the biggest jump comes from 2x Treasure Value, buy that before any cosmetic. If your chests per hour is low, the multiplier is multiplying a small number: fix the loop first on the which gold line to run, then come back. Prices for every pass are on the every pass price.
